ARCHITECT
Peacock Partnership seeks an Architect to join its award-winning design studio at either our main office in Atlanta or satellite office in Brunswick, GA. We are an energetic team, specializing in healthcare design. Successful candidates will have an eagerness to learn, excellent verbal and graphic communication skills, an ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members, and an enthusiasm for design excellence and learning.
Position Description
Performs work on defined segments of a project under supervision of Senior Staff. Responsibilities include:

Develop design documentation from conceptual compositions, diagrams, schemes, sketches and layout(s) through construction documents

Assembling project-specific details and large-scale design/ drawings

Coordination between architectural documents and consultant/engineer documents

Assist in the documentation of meetings and client decisions.

Conduct thorough research of code and requirements for specific design criteria

Secure approval of documents from appropriate regulatory agencies

Participate as a collaborative team member working with senior staff.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Architecture program or a related design program with bachelor's level degree

Minimum 5 years of experience

Creative, collaborative, and able to thrive in a team atmosphere.

Demonstrated ability to produce high quality, complete sets of drawings for complex projects using required software (ArchiCAD, AutoCAD/Revit, Lumion, etc.)

Familiarity with building systems and building codes.

Strong organizational, coordination and communication skills.

·Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team of professionals and consultants to meet project objectives on time and within scope and budget.

Competency in all aspects of design.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Experience in the Healthcare design industry preferred
